Istanbul by Ghiwa El Kaissi

Istanbul. a beautiful country
Istanbul is known as the country with a variety of historical monuments that must be visited.
My trip there lasted for four days but I got to see lots of breathtaking
places. I want to share with you the photos I managed to capture of these interesting
sights.
This is the Bosphorus Bridge that connects Asia with Europe in Turkey.
This is the Blue Mosque. It is known as Sultanahmet Camii. The mosque of Istanbul is one of the most known mosques. It was built between 1609 and 1616 during the reign of Sultan Ahmet Ist. Here is the inside:
This is Hagia Sophia. It was a Greek Orthodox Christian patriarchal basilica, later it became an imperial mosque and now it’s a museum. On the inside, both Christian and Muslim civilizations left traces of their believes.
