The end of the note 7 by Zein Adada

Samsung Electronics Co. is ending production of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphones,killing off a device which has been plagued since its introduction in August by battery problems that caused fires and even explosions that became a major headache for South Korea’s largest company. The company attempted to fix the problem by switching battery suppliers and updating the smartphone's software, but it failed. Giving up on the Note 7 estimate a total hit of $9.5 billion in lost sales and $5.1 billion of profit wiped out.
